The Lederach Golf Course was designed by Kelly Blake Moran. The course opened for play in 2006.
Lederach Golf Course has a decidedly links feel. Lederach's difficulty won't be found in forced carries or other modern design gimmicks. Rather, the course will utilize the property's ample undulations, scenic ridges and sweeping valleys. False fronts, collection areas, grass bunkers and swales are just some of the natural hazards Moran has incorporated. The course has tees specifically for junior players, as well as four other sets ranging in distances of 5,034 to 7,025 yards.
Black tees: par-71, 7,025 yards, 73.9 / 137
Blue tees: par-71, 6,624 yards, 71.8 / 134
Green tees: par-71, 6,062 yards, 69.8 / 131
White tees: par-71, 5,034 yards, 64.3 / 110
Yellow tees: par-71, 2,871 yards, 59.1 / 100

With four sets of tees, you get a different experience each time you play. Greens are challenging.

Slopping greens made it difficult for the first time we played this course. Also, there too may mounds fronting the greens, making approach shots more difficult.

Horrible rough filled with lots of pebbles, stones, and just dead grass. Some holes are just plain horrible to look at and make no sense. Not a very pretty course and not once did I feel inspired playing here. Sometimes you just walk up to a tee and look down your line and think to yourself, wow...this is golf. Not here whatsoever. Houses abound and yardage markers are very difficult to spot (biggest pet peeve in golf courses). I was constantly guessing my yardage and looking in vain to spot a yardage marker. If were to play here a few more times, I'm sure it would grow on me, but by the third hole I was not impressed with this course at all (yes, that quickly). Lots of uneven lies as well and lots of blind tee/approach shots. I don't mind that so much, but there are greens that are not fair and undulate severely robbing you of making birdie and par putts. Also, when playing the pin placements selected that day were laughable. Literally pins 1yd into the green and in awkward placing. It has potential I guess, but links style golf can only really be enjoyed in Ireland I suppose. Fail.

LEDERACH NEEDS TO RE-DO AT LEAST 3 GREENS TO MAKE THEM FAIRER FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC. ESPECIALLY #8 GREEN WHICH IS CROWN IN THE MIDDLE WITH A HUGE FALSE FRONT AND A SLOPED BACK. VERY DIFFICULT TO HOLD THIS GREEN FROM ANY ANGLE IN.
